Welcome to Prairie Moraine.Online, where you can explore the strange phenomenon of a dog park existing in two, parallel universes at the same time. For the sake of clarity, we'll call them Earth One and Earth Two. Most people visiting the dog park will find themselves on Earth One.
Prairie Moraine Dog Park, on Earth One, is the trail-blazing and award-winning southern half of a 160-acre Dane County park located just outside of Madison, Wisconsin. It is a beautiful area of rolling hills containing woods, oak savanna, and dry prairie. With an extensive network of trails, you can walk a different route -- with both sun and shade -- each time you visit. Dane County Parks, assisted by volunteers, works to make this most-visited park in the county safe and enjoyable for all.
Prairie Moraine Dog Park, on Earth Two, is a distorted version of itself. Rather than a place of beauty and life, it is a harsh and barren landscape that alternates -- with no protection -- between frigid winter winds and blazing summer heat. Sadly, every nook and cranny is apparently filled with hazards to dogs and humans, most of them introduced on purpose by Dane County Parks, assisted by volunteers, in order to injure and drive away park visitors and their dogs.
