Prairie Moraine Dog Park comes up Number 2 on Yelp when you sort by "Recommended" and Number 1 when you sort by "Highest Rated." As you can see, it is rated 4.9 out of 5 stars, with 19 reviews. This is on Earth One, the same place where it won "Best of Madison" for several years in a row, until they eliminated the "Best Dog Park" category.

Someone seems determined to see a "fall from grace" where none exists. (See Jun 9 Facebook post above.) The only way I was able to duplicate these results on Yelp was to specify dog parks within Madison only. Prairie Moraine is in Verona -- near Madison but not *in* Madison.
The other list is from the "Local PetCare" website. I don't know what its ranking is based on (there are no reviews), but I guess it's nice that it lists Prairie Moraine Dog Park as number 5. However, it has Badger Prairie Dog Park listed as number 1, and gives only four lines of info on Prairie Moraine, including that water stations are provided. Doesn't sound very reliable to me.
